Under the management of William C. Seanor, Westmoreland Federal Employees Federal Credit Union was granted a Federal credit union charter on January 5, 1942. The goal of the credit union, at that time, was to provide financial assistance to Federal employees of Westmoreland and Indiana counties as they emerged from the Great Depression. William C. Seanor managed the credit union with the philosophy "People Helping People" until 1989.
Your credit union philosophy, today, remains "People Helping People!" Our goal is to become a full service credit union, providing high yield savings and low cost services to all members. Some services provided are: share draft/checking accounts, debit cards, club accounts, IRA's, direct deposits, PHEAA loans, second mortgages, VISA cards, etc.
